Zhalle residential building is located in south Shiraz Street and consists of 4 residential units in 5 levels. (four flats and a duplex on Fourth and Fifth level.) Plans are designed in different forms for varying users. Each level is designed with balconies viewing the main street.

We tried to consider Iranian Architecture Factors in designing the building’s façade. Defining entrance area by pulling back from side walk, and use of vernacular materials, like brick helped us with this idea.

We also designed the façade in harmony with functions inside the building. The stairs, balconies and duplex unit are recognizable from façade. Openings, handrails and flashings are designed in detail.
